If you already have a bid, call us for a second opinion.

We are the Experts in Sewer Mains:

Drain & Sewer Cleaning: Sewer Line Replacement:
  • Rootering
  • Hydro Jetting
  • Video Camera & Locating Sewer Mains
  • Trenchless Pipe Bursting
  • Trenchless New Sewer Lining

Five things you must know to save money and fix your sewer main correctly.

  1. Have the sewer line cleaned well. There are two ways to do this:
    1. One way is the old standard method of rootering out the main with a metal snake. This will handle most clogs.
    2. The other is Hydro jetting out the debris. This is a very powerful high pressure water spraying method of cleaning the pipe. This gets the pipe as clean as a whistle.
    3. If one of these methods doesn't work, do the following.
  2. Sewer Camera Service
    Sewer Camera Service
Have the sewer main inspected by a sewer camera:

The camera will let us know what and where the real problem is with the sewer main.

    1. Does the pipe need just a simple repair, instead of full replacement? If so, just do the needed repair, which will save you money.
    2. The camera will verify if the sewer main really needs to be replaced. You can actually watch a TV screen and see for yourself what the problem is; no guessing!
  3. Sewer Location Service
    Sewer Locating
    Have the sewer line located.

This will tell us exactly where your line is under the ground. We run a special cable into your sewer main, then we use an electronic locating device to take all the guesswork out of where and how deep the sewer main is.

This helps us decide on the best method of replacement, which will save money.
  4. There are 3 ways to replace a sewer main:
    1. The original way to replace a main line is to dig up your yard from the house to the street, making a trench running 3' to 5' wide and 3' to 15' deep, depending on your home. The downside of this method is that it destroys your lawns, gardens, sidewalks, and sometimes driveways, all depending on where your sewer main currently runs out to the street. We rarely use this method.
    2. Trenchless Pipe Bursting:

The word "trenchless" means we don't have to dig a big long hole across your yard. This is a magnificent method of sewer main line replacement. It's done by digging a 3' by 3' hole at the house and a 3' by 3' hole at the street. We then run a large cable through the old pipe and connect it to a cone-shaped piece of metal called a “bursting head”. We connect a new main line to this bursting head. We then pull the assembled cable, head and new line through the old sewer line with a special hydraulic pulling device. As the head pulls through the line, the head breaks apart the old line, leaving room to pull the new line through. This method saves a tremendous amount of destruction to your yard, and a great deal of hassle, and saves a lot of money. In most cases, we can do this in one day. Genius!
    3. trenchless pipe lining trenchless pipe lining
      Trenchless pipe lining:

This is another genius technology, where we send a liner down the sewer main, coated in a special resin, then we send an inflatable bladder down the center of the liner, we then fill the bladder with hot water, which expands the liner to the inside of the old sewer main. We leave the bladder in the line for 1-2 hours to let the resin cure. Then we pull out the bladder, and you have a newly-lined sewer line, with no joints to leak later on.

  5. Everything mentioned above is very simple, because this is all we do: WE ARE SPECIALISTS! We know how to make it easy for you. We know how to save you money and solve the problem. And because of our volume, we buy our materials at discount rates, which we then pass along to you.
